Our Winter Craft Fair is a very special event when Brantwood’s historic rooms are full of crafts people selling and demonstrating the best skills from Cumbria and the North West
The Craft Fair is an annual event for Brantwood and over the years has developed a name for quality crafts. The event is an opportunity for crafts people to showcase the very best in local art and craft. Over 40 stalls will be situated throughout the house including jewellery, textiles, pottery, woodwork, original artworks, prints and cards, baskets, bowls, pots, felted birds and animals as well as homemade Christmas puddings, cakes and preserves – to name but a few. Craft demonstrations include swill-basket making, spinning, and raku-fired pottery. There will be plenty of ideas for unusual and unique Christmas presents and handmade objects for the home. The Terrace Coffee House and Restaurant will be serving seasonal fair including our traditional mulled wine to put you in a festive mood.
Doors open at 10.30 am on the 9th & 10th November 2019, closing at 5 pm on the Saturday and at 4 pm on the Sunday. The special entry price of £2.50 per adult and free admission for children means that this is not an event to be missed, whether you are familiar with, or a newcomer to the extraordinary house and grounds. A Park & Ride mini-bus service will be running between Brantwood and Machell’s Coppice car park (just south of Brantwood) throughout the weekend, providing ample car parking throughout the event.
Stalls for our 2019 craft fair are open for exhibitors to apply for, please email email@example.com with a description of your craft, as well as photos or a link to your website.
