In this third workshop with Sandra at Brantwood, you will draw inspiration from the stunning setting of Brantwood.  On day 1, learn to create dramatic pictures with sweeping rain and on day 2, look to blue skies ahead, creating fluffy white clouds against a beautiful blue sky.

You will explore using layers of pastel on specialist pastel paper and can expect to produce two pieces of unique work. Specialist pastel paper will be provided for you day along with basic pastels. However, we recommend that you purchase or bring along a few pastels of good quality- for example Unison or Sennelier- as this will help you develop the work further. Please bring a packed lunch or lunch can be ordered from the cafe downstairs, refreshments provided within the course fee.

Creating fluffy white clouds against a beautiful blue sky may seem simple but there’s lots learn about layers of delicate colour – and using every colour apart from white until the last layer! Come along and learn all the tricks to produce stunning pastel pieces that really recreate wonderful sunny days.
