10am start – talk about composition, looking at still life examples, discuss expectations, skills and interests.
10.30am – set up composition considering lighting, texture and colour.
11am – begin by creating some timed charcoal sketches of our compositions for study purposes. Review sketches.
11.45am – prepare oil palette
12.00 – one hour of painting the base layer of your composition.
2pm – painting the top layer of your composition with one-to-one tuition through the afternoon.
4.30pm. tidy up and review of the achievements of the day.
