Overlooking Coniston Water with spectacular views of Coniston Old Man, there is no more atmospheric place than Brantwood for a business meeting or training event. Experience John Ruskin’s legacy and inspiration at Brantwood, the most beautifully situated house in the Lake District. Renowned as a writer, artist, poet and thinker, Ruskin’s home is a treasure house of art and memorabilia, reflecting the huge variety of his interests. A true `blue-sky` thinker, Ruskin's ideas still resonate today.

Our new conference facility, "The Eyrie", located on the upper floor has amazing views across the lake. The conference room is fully equipped for presentations, meetings or training events. Other rooms are also available as breakout spaces. Brantwood's extensive woodland estate and lake shore offer ample opportunity for team building activities. The Eyrie can accommodate up to 30 people, depending on the arrangement required for the space. Please note - access to the Eyrie is via a set of steps.

Light lunches and refreshments can be catered for by Brantwood. Alternatively, lunch can be booked through Jumping Jenny restaurant on site at Brantwood. Choice of menu starting at £6.80 per head. Contact Gillie Addison on 015394 41715.

There is free car parking in Brantwood's main car park  or why not use the Coniston Launch ferry service to arrive at our jetty with your group.

Hire rates:

Up to 10 people: £100 per day School Room hire (minimum hire charge)

11-20 people: plus £8 per additional person per day

21-30 people: plus £6 per person per day

School Room hire rate includes use of audio visual presentation equipment, wi-fi broadband internet access, breakout room facility and the provision of tea and coffee.

Hire rates also available for Severn Studio on application.
